tension will grow

and hate will be stirred

lust will be sought

and pain will show


the feeling of regret will cloud your mind

you’ll be lower than dirt

you fell off cloud nine


but pursue you will

and anxious you’ll be

always wanting never satisfied

and never staying still


the thought of death can scare you

you’ll be gone in a blink

you’re gone sooner than you think


so don’t waste time

don’t waste your life

it’s depressing, I know

to think this life is it

but there’s more beyond this

and all you have to do is give in
