What is The Flipside?

The Flip Side is a publication dedicated to providing an alternative news media outlet and forum on the UW-Eau Claire campus by welcoming the writings, views, and involvement of all students and community members. By reporting on news, perspectives, and opinions on local, national, and international issues, we seek to develop participatory democracy and freedom of speech.

Try to keep articles between 400 and 1500 words. Please include your name, year in school and major if applicable. Contact us for more information. We strongly encourage the citing of sources when making arguments or reporting news. See format found within.

Circulation

The Flip Side is published every two weeks on Wednesday during the fall and spring semesters of the academic school year at UW-Eau Claire. Seven Issues in the fall semester and seven in the spring.

Our circulation is between 1500 and 2000 copies and distribution is available upon request. The Flip Side is an officially recognized organized activity under the authority of the UW-Eau Claire Student Senate.
